WOW!  You have just received your first customer who wants to invest  $10 000.00.

You operate an investment house along with three other classmates and you have just landed your first customer, Mr. Chester Fields.  You have been asked to invest his money in the Toronto Stock Exchange.  You and your teammates must decide which stocks to buy and to make as much money as possible for him.

Project Outline

- Teams will be created in consultation with your Math Teacher, each team will have 4 or 5 members.

- Together you will choose four companies that you will invest in.

-  Stock transactions are usually bought through a broker and therefore each order (buy or sell) will cost 2% of the value of the stocks you buy or sell.

-  You must have at least 4 different stocks in your portfolio at any one time.

-  You must keep a Bank Account detailing your stock purchases, broker fee payments, and stock sales.

-  You will be required to create neat and presentable charts and line graphs to track each stock’s progress.  They should be updated every computer class.

-  You will be required to keep a chart and circle graph that summarizes your customers total investment worth at the end of the project.

- You will create a chart and double bar graph that compares the purchase price per share of each stock to the final sale price.

-  Each student will keep their own spreadsheets.
