Painting and Wall Papering:
1. You must use a drop sheet to protect the floor when painting.
2. You must prepare all doors by sanding the entire area with fine sandpaper.
3. You must put one coat of Latex Primer paint on all walls, doors and ceiling.
4. You must put two coats of Latex Interior paint on all walls. 
    You must put two coats of Latex Ceiling paint on the ceiling.

5. You must put two coats (oil base) paint on all doors.
6. You must use a brush for all doors.
7. You will require a high pile roller sleeve if your ceiling is stucco.
8. You can use a low pile roller sleeve for all flat surfaces.
9. You will have to paint the edges of the walls and ceilings with a brush before using the roller: this is called “cutting in” the paint.

10. You must include the paint colour code number in your purchase tracking spreadsheet.  I will provide a colour palette in the computer lab.


Floor Coverings:
1. You must purchase an under pad for all wall to wall carpeting or area rugs.
2. All hardwood flooring must have a sub-floor installed first.
