Organized in two ways:
1. Start by copying and pasting the website URL (website address) as a heading.
Then include your notes from that particular web site. Use dot-jot notes; full sentences are not required. Do not copy and paste.
2. Then organize your dot-jot notes by question. You will not have to retype.
Use the question as a heading and then copy and paste your original dot-jot notes.
Hand in Your File Electronically
Hand in your econote file by dragging and dropping it into your class folder located in the
student dropoff folder. You will find the student dropoff folder in the Sir Ernest MacMillan folder located on your
desktop. Make sure you have named the file correctly (Your Name-Econotes-ACT Class).
Use these web links to research your ecosystem and complete your notes. After you have completed

Coral Reefs - learn how coral reefs form and about the myriad of animals that live in this
complex biome.
Ecosystems can be described in terms of where they are, or what they are made of. This site discusses
the characteristics of nine (9) ecosystems based on their plant life.
Gives lots of the information you need: characteristics of ecosytems - climate, soils, plants, plant and
animal adaptations, and human effects on several systems.
Rather than do a keyword search in Google, Google's directory service was used to find links to the topic
of ecosytems. You will find other links here, or you can do a keyword search within the ecosystems topic to help find
more web resources.
